Calvin Lee Craig:

Historical Research Collection

INTRODUCTION: This Site consists of data and material that I, Calvin Lee CRAIG, gathered & compiled through the years, regarding early settlers and family histories in the St. George, Charlotte County, New Brunswick area. I include military and Loyalist backgrounds of many of the early settlers of this region. Hopefully, students, historians, genealogists & others will benefit from this Work. A special thank you to my wife, Barbara, for all the typing she did and Pat McKinney for all the valuable research she contributed to this project. I also would thank Romey Heuff for helping put this electronic version together so it could be accessible online.

BACKGROUND: Facts include - education & courses: High School & Business College, Hampton & Saint John, NB; RCMP Academy, Regina, SK'; Henson College, Halifax; Canadian Police College, Ottawa, ON; Queen's University, Executive Program, Kingston, ON.

I retired from the Royal Canadian Police as a S/Sgt. and then worked as a Director - Security & Loss Prevention for the Nova Liquor Commission. During my latter working years I was active with the Genealogical Societies of Nova Scotia & New Brunswick and the United Empire Loyalists & served in various executive positions. My work & prime hobby have been enjoyable. I owe much to my wife, Barbara Jean (Linton) CRAIG, my family, friends & associates for their help along the way.
