Foreign Diplomatic Agents (FDAs) are tasked with leveraging diplomatic access and insider networks to collect foreign intelligence on behalf of the Calverian government. FDAs are typically stationed at Calverian embassies and consulates abroad and operate under an official diplomatic cover. All FDAs are required to fully perform their assigned cover roles while simultaneously conducting intelligence operations. As a result, the workload is substantial and equivalent to two full-time positions. FDAs receive additional compensation comparable to overtime pay; however, all supplemental earnings are placed into a secure deferred account and may only be accessed upon retirement, separation, or medical discharge, in order to preserve operational security.

Base pay: Ʉ200,000 + Salary of cover job

Requirements: FIB Career Background Check, Senior Degree in a social science, and Level 5 or higher proficiency in at least one foreign language.

Foreign Sleeper Agents (FSAs) spend the vast majority of their careers in foreign countries, without diplomatic cover. FSAs are expected to secure and maintain a position in important economic, military, or political institutions, and perform satisfactorally in said positions. They do not actively gather intelligence, but remain ready to defend their country through any means of sabotage, disruption, and interference at their disposal should a war break out. Extensive on-the-job training is required for this position, and lasts between 3 and 5 years. Applicants to the position should note that their pay is not distributed immediately, but is available to them after their tour of duty. 

Base pay: Ʉ250,000
Tour of Duty:  30 years, with an optional  withdrawal after year 1, year 10, and year 20
Requirements: FIB Career Background Check, Senior Degree from an accredited institution, and Level 7 or higher proficiency in a foreign language.

A Special Operation Officer (SOO) commands a Spec Ops unit, and is in charge of the execution of any mission carried out by their team. The majority of their operations are short-term, and are used to carry out precision strikes on threats located in foreign countries. Applicants to the position must demonstrate their ability to think under pressure, and effectively be able to carry out missions that involve significant risk of injury and death to their team. All SOOs must have previous experience in the regular military to be considered for the position.

Base pay:  Ʉ150,000
Tour of Duty:  4 years
Requirements: FIB Career Background Check, Commendable Discharge or higher from an officer rank in the Calverian armed forces, and Level 3 or higher proficiency in a foreign language.

A Special Operation Enlistee (SOE) is part of a Spec Ops unit, and is an integral piece in the execution of any mission carried out by their team. The majority of their operations are short-term, and are used to carry out precision strikes on threats located in foreign countries. Applicants to the position must demonstrate their discipline, respect for leadership, and effectively be able to carry out missions that involve significant risk of injury and death to their team. All SOEs must have previous experience in the regular military to be considered for the position.

Tour of Duty:  6 years
Requirements: FIB Career Background Check, Commendable Discharge or higher from an enlistee rank in the Calverian armed forces, and Level 3 or higher proficiency in a foreign language.
