Cellular and Systems Neuroscience Lab

Welcome to Bi/CNS/NB 162

This is the website for previous years. For 2021/22, Bi 162 information will be available on Canvas.

Bi 162 is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in hands-on learning about the nervous system. We will investigate the electrical responses of neurons in a range of different preparations, starting with simple experiments in invertebrates and progressing to more challenging concepts and techniques. The class also includes an introduction to neuroanatomy and brain dissection.
