This Privacy Policy explains how Calm Plants (“the app”, “we”, or “us”) treats your information when you use the Calm Plants mobile application and related services. Using the app means you accept this policy.
2. What Information We HandleCalm Plants is built so that your content stays with you.
Content on your device: Information you add in the app—plant names, photos, planting dates, watering logs, journal entries, and preferences (for example, dark mode)—is stored only on your device. We do not receive, store, or process this data on our own systems.
Purchases: Optional in-app support is handled by Google Play. Payment and billing details are with Google; we do not have access to them. We may receive limited, non-personal information about support transactions as allowed by Google’s terms.
Support: If you email us at calmplants-support@gmail.com, we use your email and message only to reply. We do not use this for marketing unless you explicitly agree.
3. How We Use Information
To run and improve the app (plant profiles, watering history, journal, and statistics).
To answer your messages sent to calmplants-support@gmail.com.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your plant or journal content for ads.
4. Where Your Data LivesAll plant and journal data is kept on your device. You can remove it anytime using the app (for example, by deleting a plant or using “Delete All Data”). We do not keep a separate copy of this data.
5. Third-Party Services
Google Play: Downloading the app and making in-app purchases are subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
In-app web pages: The app may open web pages (such as this policy) inside the app. Those pages may have their own privacy practices; please read them if you visit.
We do not give your plant or journal data to third parties for advertising or analytics.
6. ChildrenCalm
Plants is not aimed at users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has shared data through the app, please write to us at calmplants-support@gmail.com.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy. The effective date at the top will be updated when we do. Using the app after changes means you accept the new version.
