Privacy Policy — Calm-Talk

Calm-Talk is a real-time audio communication app designed to allow a teacher or speaker to stream their voice directly to connected Bluetooth audio devices.

Audio and Microphone Access

Calm-Talk uses your device’s microphone only while the app is actively in use and the user intentionally engages the audio feature (for example, by pressing a talk or transmit control).

Calm-Talk does not record, store, save, or transmit audio data.
All audio processing occurs locally on the device and is used solely for real-time audio playback through connected Bluetooth devices.

The microphone is never accessed in the background and is never activated without clear user action.

Data Collection

Calm-Talk does not collect personal information.
Calm-Talk does not collect analytics, usage tracking, location data, or identifiers.

Data Sharing

Calm-Talk does not share data with third parties.

Permissions

Calm-Talk requires the following permissions to function:

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO)
  Required to capture the user’s voice for real-time audio playback.
  
  

• Bluetooth
  Required to route audio to connected Bluetooth devices.
  
  

Children’s Privacy

Calm-Talk does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
No audio or personal data is stored or transmitted.
