Our app is designed to help you backup and restore your call logs and contacts locally.
- Call Logs and Contacts: The app requires access to your device's Call Logs and Contacts to perform its core functions (Backup, Export to PDF/CSV, and Restore).
- Local Processing: All data from your call logs and contacts is processed locally on your device. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your personal call logs or contact details to any external servers.
2. Data Storage
- Local Database: Backups are stored in a local database on your device using Android's Room database.
- Exported Files: When you export data to PDF or CSV, the files are saved in your device's Downloads folder. You have full control over these files and can delete them at any time.
3. Permissions
To provide our services, we request the following permissions:
- READ_CALL_LOG / WRITE_CALL_LOG: To read your history for backup and write it back during restoration.
- READ_CONTACTS / WRITE_CONTACTS: To backup your contact list and restore them.
- INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required for displaying advertisements.
- AD_ID: Required for AdMob to provide relevant ads.
4. Third-Party Services (Advertising)
We use Google AdMob to show advertisements in the app to keep it free for users. AdMob may collect and use anonymous data (like your device's advertising ID) to show relevant ads.
5. Data Security
Since we do not upload your data to any server, your data's security depends on your device's security. We recommend keeping your device protected.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
