Aussiehood Official ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Caller ID & Spam Call Blocker mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and who it may be shared with.
To provide caller ID, spam blocking, and messaging features, the App requests the following permissions and accesses the following data on your device:
Contacts (read/write): To display caller names, match incoming calls, and let you manage contacts within the App.
Call Log (read/write): To display call history, detect spam calls, and let you delete entries.
SMS/MMS (read/send/receive): To provide messaging functionality if you set the App as your default messaging app.
Phone state and numbers: To detect incoming and outgoing calls and screen them for spam.
Notifications: To alert you about calls, messages, and app updates.
Network state / Internet access: To fetch spam number updates, ad content, and app configuration.
Your contacts, call log, and message content are processed and stored only on your device (in the App's local database) for the purpose of providing these features. We do not upload your contacts, call history, or message content to our own servers.
The App uses the following third-party services, which may independently collect data such as device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, and app usage data, subject to their own privacy policies:
Google Firebase (Analytics): App usage and diagnostic data.
OneSignal: Push notification delivery.
Meta/Facebook SDK: Analytics and app events.
TopOn ad mediation SDK and its connected ad networks, which may include Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, ironSource, Pangle, Huawei Ads, InMobi, AppLovin, and Mintegral: To display advertising within the App, including personalized ads based on your advertising ID.
We do not control these third parties' data practices. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies:
The App includes a bundled database of publicly reported spam/scam numbers used to identify likely spam calls.
Numbers that you personally report as spam are stored locally on your device and may be used to improve spam detection within the App.
We do not sell your personal information.
Aggregated or de-identified data may be shared with the third-party services listed above for analytics and advertising purposes, as described in Section 2.
Your contacts, call history, and message content are not uploaded to or stored on our own servers.
Contacts, call log, and message data remain under your control through your device's contacts, call log, and messaging functionality and can be deleted through the App or your device settings.
To request deletion of any data associated with advertising or analytics identifiers, please contact us using the contact details provided below.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
