Data Destination: Your contact information is securely uploaded and synchronized with our server at https://api.v2.truecallapp.com.
Purpose: This information helps provide more accurate caller identification results and improves our spam detection database. We do not sell, trade, or transfer your contact list to third parties.
Our app collects and processes SMS messages, including personal and financial SMS, in order to provide comprehensive spam detection and fraud protection. This processing is necessary to identify phishing attempts, fraudulent messages, and unwanted marketing communications.
To ensure all features function correctly, the app requests the following permissions:
READ_CONTACTS / WRITE_CONTACTS – To synchronize and manage your contact list for Caller ID services.
READ_CALL_LOG / WRITE_CALL_LOG – To display call history and identify unknown callers.
READ_SMS / RECEIVE_SMS / SEND_SMS – To detect spam messages and help manage your SMS inbox.
READ_PHONE_STATE – To detect incoming calls and monitor call status (ringing, connected, etc.).
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW – To display the Caller ID overlay during incoming and outgoing calls.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS – To send notifications related to missed calls or blocked spam communications.
We collect your device identifier to uniquely associate spam reports and suggested caller names with your device. This helps maintain the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our spam reporting system.
Our application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These service providers maintain their own privacy policies.
