Calendar W/CW is a phone app and a Wear OS watch app that show the holidays and events of your calendars on your watch, together with ISO week numbers. It does not collect, store on any server, sell or share any personal data.
The apps have no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Neither app has internet access.
With your permission (the Android "Calendar" permission), the phone app reads the calendars already synced on your phone, such as Google Calendar. You choose which calendars to use. For the events in those calendars, the app reads only:
the start and end date;
whether the event lasts all day;
the event colour.
Event titles, descriptions, locations, attendees and other details are never read. The names and accounts of your calendars are only shown on the phone screen so you can choose which ones to use.
The dates and colours above are sent only to your own paired watch, using the Wear OS Data Layer of Google Play services. Google Play services may deliver them over Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or Google's servers, as for any Wear OS app; this is covered by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Calendar W/CW never sends data anywhere else.
Your settings (selected calendars and their order) are stored on your phone. The received dates and colours are stored on your watch, so the calendar and its Tile also work when the phone is not nearby. All of this is removed when you uninstall the apps. You can revoke calendar access at any time in Android settings.
Calendar W/CW is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
