Welcome to the Calendar & Planner app ("App"), developed by Seekers Apps ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our App or related services ("Services"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices. This policy complies with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), the Brazilian General Data Protection Law ("LGPD"), and Google Play policies. For more information on Google Play policies, visit Google Play Developer Policy Center.
This Privacy Policy is an integral part of our End User License Agreement ("EULA"). Any capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the EULA.
We collect limited information to provide and improve our Services. We only collect what is necessary and ensure it is handled securely.
Device Information
We collect device-related data, such as your hardware model, operating system version, and system settings. This helps us optimize the App for your device, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compatibility. We do not collect unique device identifiers unless required for specific features like push notifications.
Network and Internet Access
The App requires internet access to enable features like cloud synchronization, analytics, and ad display. When you use these features, we may collect information about your network connection, such as IP address, to facilitate data syncing and provide relevant content. This data is used to improve App performance and deliver updates.
Notification Access
The App may send notifications to your device for calendar events, reminders, and updates. We collect minimal data related to notification preferences to ensure they are delivered accurately and at the right time.
We do not collect sensitive personal data like contacts, location, or health information unless explicitly permitted by you, and even then, it is stored locally on your device.
Local Storage
All data related to your contacts, events, and preferences is stored locally on your device. We do not upload or store this data on external servers, ensuring you maintain full control over it.
Anonymized Analytics
Any analytics data collected through third-party services (e.g., Firebase) is anonymized to remove personally identifiable information. This helps us understand App usage patterns without linking data to individual users.
Security Measures
We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data, including encryption for data in transit and at rest, as well as regular security audits and vulnerability scans. However, please note that no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information.
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by law, such as under GDPR Article 33 or CCPA requirements.
The Calendar & Planner app requests the following Android permissions to function properly. We only request permissions that are essential for the features you use, in line with Google Play's permissions policy.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Used to send timely notifications for calendar events and country-specific holiday reminders, ensuring you don’t miss important dates.
android.permission.INTERNET
Required to fetch country-specific holiday data and sync calendar information from online APIs, allowing real-time updates and accurate planning.
android.permission.VIBRATE
Allows the app to trigger vibration for event reminders and notifications, providing a subtle alert option.
android.permission.USE_EXACT_ALARM
Used for scheduling precise calendar event alerts so notifications trigger at the exact intended time, improving reliability.
android.permission.SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM
Allows the app to set exact notifications for accurate event and holiday reminders, ensuring timely alerts without delays.
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK
Prevents the device from sleeping during critical operations such as updating event data, ensuring background tasks complete successfully.
We request these permissions at runtime when needed, and you can manage them in your device settings. Denying permissions may limit certain features.
