Spotlight operator for 2019 WAHS winter talent show
Being apart of a talent show production as a freshman was one of my most memorable and knowledgable experiences. This was the first big school event I got to be apart of as a critical production crew member. Staying up until 1am setting up stage, sound, and lighting equipment would become a normal production experience throughout the rest of my high school career. After this, my passion for working in show business had begun!

DJ and lighting designer for WAHS 2021 and 2022 Homecoming dances
Homecoming 2022 was the first West Albany High School dance to feature live video streaming technology, as well as a walk-in intro for the DJ's (us).
FOH engineer for West Albany 2022 musical Anastasia
This was the first WAHS musical to be put on in the new APAC (Albany Performing Arts Center)
I worked with more advanced equipment such as Yamaha QL/CL digital mixers and learned about digital audio networking (Dante).
FOH engineer for West Albany 2023 musical The Wizard of Oz
During this production, my Dante skills greatly improved and I became more independent on the CL 5 mixer.
Contributions:
patched and programmed all of the scenes, input channels, output channels, and matrixes.
set proper gain, compression, EQ and FX settings for both on-stage and pit orchestra mics.
created DCA groups and assigned proper channels to each group.
monitored and edited mic settings as needed each day during rehearsals and performances.
Setting up school dances required many hours of labor. From setting up the stage to placing speakers, DMX lights, and running cable across the whole gymnasium often times meant going into the late night even after starting when school got out. One time we even needed access to the catwalks in the ceiling so we could hang decorations!
