OMEA

• AV technician and live sound engineer for 2022 and 2023 Oregon Music Educators Association (OMEA) conferences in Eugene

These events truly exposed me to a professional work environment, considering some of the musicians and composers I assisted include Brian Balmages, M-Pact, Ashanti Floyd (The Mad Violinist), and Reggie Thomas.

In January of 2022 and 2023, a whole weekend was spent setting up AV systems around Graduate Eugene, a hotel located near the University of Oregon campus in Eugene, Oregon. I setup projectors and PA systems for music teachers to use during presentations and clinics. On the last day of the conference, a banquette dinner/performance was held in the hotel.

The 2023 banquette performance setup consisted of 8 mains and a monitor with approximately 11 channels of input, all mixed by me on a Yamaha TF3. The guest artist that performed was Ashanti Floyd (The Mad Violinist). The previous year featured the acapella group, M-Pact.
