Privacy Policy - Calculens

At Calculens, we respect your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

1. Data We Don't Collect

The app does not collect or store any personal data on our own servers. All usage data (calculations, themes, selected wallpapers, loan calculation inputs) is stored locally on your device only.

2. AI Solver API Key (Gemini API)

When using the "Solve with Camera" feature, the user adds their own personal Gemini API key. This key is stored in an encrypted format on your device only and is never sent to any server operated by us. It is used solely for direct communication between your device and Google's Gemini API servers to solve math problems.

3. Financial and Calculation Data

All data entered into the Loan Calculator, Percentage Calculator, or Currency Converter is used solely to perform calculations locally on your device and is not stored or transmitted to any server.

4. Gold and Currency Prices

The app fetches gold and currency prices from external services (GoldAPI.io and Frankfurter) to display live rates only. No personal data is sent to these services.

5. Advertising (AdMob)

The app uses Google AdMob to display ads to non-PRO users. AdMob may collect anonymized data to personalize ads in accordance with Google's advertising privacy policy. Users can remove all ads permanently by purchasing the PRO version.

6. In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

In-app purchases are processed securely through Google Play Billing. We do not store or process any payment information ourselves.

7. Analytics (Google Analytics / Firebase)

The app uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data (such as active user counts and most-used screens) to help us improve the app. This data does not include any personally identifiable information.

8. Permissions Used

- Camera: Used only to capture and solve math problems; images are not stored or sent anywhere except to the user's chosen AI service.

- Photo/Media access: Used only to select a custom wallpaper for the calculator screen.

- Notifications: Used to send price-change alerts (optional, can be disabled in Settings).

- Internet: Used to fetch live gold and currency rates, display ads, and process purchases.

9. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not share any personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data collected by AdMob and Firebase is subject to Google's own privacy policies.

10. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
