CalcLock ("CalcLock", "we", "us", or "our") is a privacy-focused application that allows users to securely store and protect their personal photos and videos on their Android device.
This Privacy Policy explains how CalcLock accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the application.
By using CalcLock, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

CalcLock may access information that you specifically choose to provide to the application.
When you choose to import photos or videos into CalcLock, the application accesses only the media that you select through the Android media selection interface.
CalcLock uses the selected media solely to provide its private gallery and media protection functionality.
CalcLock does not automatically upload your selected photos or videos to our servers.
CalcLock allows you to create a PIN to protect access to your private gallery.
The application may store security-related information required to verify your PIN and provide access to the protected vault.
Your actual PIN should not be transmitted to or stored on our servers.
If you enable biometric authentication, CalcLock uses the Android biometric authentication system provided by your device.
CalcLock does not receive or store your fingerprint, face data, or other biometric information.
Biometric verification is performed by the Android operating system and/or your device's secure authentication system.
CalcLock is designed to keep your private media within the application's private storage on your device.
When you import media into the private vault, CalcLock may create a protected/encrypted copy in its private application storage.
Where the user explicitly chooses the import-and-remove operation, the original selected media may be removed from its original location after CalcLock has successfully completed the protected import.
CalcLock does not intentionally upload your private photos or videos to our servers.
CalcLock is designed to use security mechanisms such as encrypted storage and Android's secure application storage to help protect private media.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect information stored by CalcLock against unauthorized access.
However, no method of electronic storage or security can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device, PIN, and other authentication methods.
In the current version of CalcLock, we do not intentionally collect or transmit:
Your private photos or videos
Your private gallery contents
Your PIN
Your biometric information
Your contacts
Your SMS messages
Your call history
Your precise location
Your device microphone recordings
Your device camera recordings
Your personal files outside the media you explicitly select for import
CalcLock does not sell your personal or sensitive user data.
In the current version of CalcLock, private media and security information are not shared with third parties by CalcLock.
CalcLock does not provide your private photos or videos to advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties.
If future versions introduce third-party services or features that change how user data is collected, processed, or shared, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when those changes are introduced, as applicable.
The initial version of CalcLock does not contain advertising.
If advertising is introduced in a future version, the privacy practices, third-party advertising services, and relevant data collection will be disclosed and this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety information will be updated as necessary.
The current version of CalcLock does not intentionally transmit your private vault contents to third-party analytics or advertising services.
If third-party SDKs or services are added in future versions, their data practices will be reviewed and this Privacy Policy will be updated to accurately describe the information they access, collect, process, or share.
CalcLock stores protected media and related application data on your device for as long as necessary to provide the application's functionality.
You can remove individual photos or videos from the CalcLock vault using the application's available deletion functionality.
When you delete protected media from CalcLock, the application will attempt to remove the corresponding application-stored data from the device.
Because CalcLock stores private data locally, we do not maintain a copy of your private vault on our servers.
CalcLock's private application data is stored on the device.
Uninstalling CalcLock may permanently remove private vault data stored within the application's private storage.
Before uninstalling the application or resetting your device, make sure you have exported or backed up any content you wish to retain, if such functionality is available.
We cannot recover locally stored vault data that has been permanently deleted from the device.
CalcLock requests access to device features and data only when necessary for functionality provided by the application.
For example, access to photos or videos may be requested when you choose to import media into the private vault.
Where Android provides a system picker or other privacy-preserving mechanism, CalcLock may use that mechanism to allow you to select specific content rather than requesting unnecessary broad access.
You may deny permissions or access requests. Some CalcLock functionality may not work if the required access is denied.
CalcLock is intended for users aged 18 and over.
CalcLock is not designed or marketed as a child-directed application.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us through CalcLock or otherwise, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
You control the media that you choose to import into CalcLock.
You can:
Choose which photos or videos to import.
Choose whether to enable biometric authentication.
Delete protected media from the vault.
Stop granting media access through Android settings where applicable.
Uninstall CalcLock from your device.
Because the current version does not maintain an online account or server-side vault, CalcLock does not maintain a separate online account containing your private media.
We may update this Privacy Policy when CalcLock's functionality, data practices, legal requirements, or third-party services change.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to understand how CalcLock handles your information.
