CalcBook: Scientific Calculator is a scientific calculator app with tools such as graphing, unit conversion, formula references, quiz/practice features, scan/OCR, voice input, and optional private vault features.
CalcBook does not require users to create an account for basic calculator use.
The app may request permissions only when needed for specific features, including camera, microphone, photos/media/files, and internet access.
The app may request camera access for scan/OCR features. This allows users to scan mathematical expressions, documents, or text and convert them into usable calculator input.
The app does not use the camera unless the user chooses a scan feature.
The app may request microphone access for voice input features, such as speaking calculations or mathematical expressions.
The app does not record audio in the background and does not use the microphone unless the user chooses a voice input feature.
The app may request access to photos, media, files, or storage for features such as:
importing images/videos/files into the private vault
exporting or restoring files from the vault
selecting profile images or post images if enabled
saving share cards, math posts, or exported content to the device
Files selected by the user are used only for the feature the user chooses.
The app may store data locally on the user’s device, such as:
calculator history
app settings and themes
local profile settings
quiz/challenge progress
Math IQ progress
vault-related local data
The private vault feature is designed to store user-selected files locally on the device. The app does not access vault files unless the user chooses to import, view, export, or delete them.
The app may display ads using third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob. Ads may use device or usage information according to the advertising provider’s privacy practices.
Ads are not shown inside private vault areas.
Internet access may be used for ads, online content, updates, and future online features.
Some online features such as login, cloud profile, public posts, friends, or global leaderboards may be marked as “Coming Soon” or “PRO Feature — Coming Soon.” These features may require additional data collection when enabled in a future update.
We do not sell users’ personal information.
Third-party services such as advertising providers may collect data according to their own policies.
CalcBook is intended for general educational and productivity use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We use reasonable methods to protect locally stored app data. Users are responsible for securing their own device.
Users can deny permissions. If permission is denied, the related feature may not work, but the rest of the app should continue functioning.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.
