It is not recommended that students bring phones to testing. If they do, the phone will be stored in a central location, outside of the testing environment. Students will have access to a school phone if needed.

Retention and promotion are based on a comprehensive picture from all aspects of the school year. A student would not be retained based on the EOG tests. This data is used in order to inform instruction and better served students in the following grade level.
Test results are digital and will follow a student if they move.
The reading EOG is one way to make a reading pathway in third grade. If third graders have not made a pathway and do not take the Reading EOG, they will receive a Reading Retained label on their report card. Please contact the child's teacher to discuss details or questions.
Students make a pathway when they have an overall ability of 258 or Lexile of 725 in Istation. Once a student makes a pathway, teachers will send home RTA Promotion letters. You may also contact the teacher to confirm a student's pathway.
The only EOG test that has an option for remediation and retesting is the Grade 3 Reading EOG. Remediation plans will be communicated to individual students.
Modified testing plans will be communicated to individual families.
