CAFS recently attended a meet and greet with Linda Smith, Founder and President of Shared Hope International, a non-profit in the global movement to end sex trafficking. Linda is also co-author to  “Renting Lacy – A story of America’s Prostituted Children”.

" Step into the darkness of the trafficking underworld. Meet the actual people who live there. Hear their words – and sense the terror and despair. Is there hope? "

You will discover how girls are lured and trapped.  Learn how you can take action!

Her presentation presented CAFS with very valuable knowledge on Sex Trafficking and keeps our calling to helping sexually abused children in the forefront of the news!

Shared Hope has put together so many great resources, one of the best is their “Chosen” videos. This video discusses sex traffickers and their targets (young teens).  See the trailer here.

Mission Statement

The mission of Child Abuse & Forensic Services  Inc. is to administer forensic medical examinations to patients that have made an outcry of sexual assault and collect evidence from child and adult patients in a timely manner in a non-threatening facility with no monetary charge to the patient. We are committed to lessen the trauma to these individuals through education, prevention and advocacy. We are part of a multidisciplinary unifying force bringing together parties involved in and affected by sexual assault as a catalyst for change.

"One of the reasons that this program was started is due to the chaotic environment in most emergency rooms. It could take hours before the victims are seen and I believe it might have prevented some of them from coming in to be seen or checked out."

-Brenda Garrison, R.N., CP-CA SANE - Director of Child Abuse and Forensic Services

We conduct forensic medical examination and assessment of sexual assault victims for both children and adults in a private and confidential facility.
