About CAEDA

CAEDA is the Region 13 branch of the Texas Educational Diagnosticians Association that serves districts, charter, and private schools. Our hope is to promote assessment excellence and equip classroom teachers with teaching strategies to assist them with quality instruction for students with disabilities.

In addition, we assist graduating seniors, who have received special education services, and wish to further their education by offering the Maggie Sloan Scholarships toward post-secondary education registration and fees. Our aim is to increase our member participation to create greater visibility within the Austin area in conjunction with the state organization, TEDA. Our goal is to educate others about the role and responsibilities of an educational diagnostician in the community.
