Privacy Policy — Cadence

Cadence ("the App") is developed and operated by Ayoub Kalache ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.

1. Camera & Pose Detection

The App uses your device's camera exclusively to detect body position and count exercise repetitions in real time. No video or image is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted. All pose detection runs entirely on-device using on-device machine learning models. We have no access to your camera feed.

2. Data We Collect

2a. Workout Data (stored locally on your device)

• Exercise sessions: date, duration, rep count, exercise type

• Streak history and progress

This data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted local database. It is not sent to our servers.

2b. Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

If the App crashes, an anonymized crash report is sent to Google Firebase Crashlytics. This report includes:

• Device model and OS version

• App version

• Stack trace of the crash

No personal information or workout content is included in crash reports. Crash reporting is disabled in development builds.

2c. Purchase & Subscription Data (RevenueCat)

If you subscribe to Cadence Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat may collect:

• A anonymized device identifier

• Purchase history and entitlement status

2d. Account Data (Google Sign-In)

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. This is used solely to identify your account. We do not sell or share this information with third parties.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your location

• We do not record or store video or images from your camera

• We do not sell your data to advertisers

• We do not use your workout data for any purpose other than displaying it to you

4. Data Retention

Local workout data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data. Crash reports are retained by Firebase for 90 days. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our systems.

5. Children's Privacy

Cadence is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
