If you want a rugged, magnetic anchor for your device while navigating rough farm terrain or heavy machinery, choose Caddie Buddy Magnetic Phone Mount; if you need a secure, non-scratching clamp specifically engineered for the dashboard of a Lincoln Corsair, choose FMLAUM Curved Clamp Cell. These two tools serve vastly different environments, and picking the wrong one means either losing your grip on the phone during a bumpy ride or damaging your car's interior with a generic holder.
• Caddie Buddy: Offers an ultra-strong magnetic hold built to withstand vibration from tractors and heavy equipment, but it requires specific mounting surfaces and lacks the precision fit for standard sedan dashboards.
• FMLAUM: Features a rigid ABS chassis with soft-touch silicone that grips dashboard bezels without scratching, yet it is strictly limited to the Lincoln Corsair 2020-2026 models and offers no universal tractor compatibility.
• The Verdict: Choose Caddie Buddy for field work where vibration is high and durability is key; choose FMLAUM for highway travel in a compatible luxury vehicle where aesthetics and surface protection matter most.
The Caddie Buddy Magnetic Phone Mount is designed for the operator who needs their hands completely free while managing heavy machinery. Its primary strength lies in its ability to handle extreme conditions. The product description emphasizes an "ultra-strong magnetic hold" that ensures your phone stays securely in place regardless of how bumpy the terrain gets. This is not a mount for smooth city streets; it is built for dusty fields, rainy days, and the constant jostling of plowing, planting, or harvesting. If you drive a tractor or operate heavy equipment, this magnetic system allows you to focus entirely on the task at hand rather than worrying about your phone sliding off a slippery vent or falling onto the floorboard.
For the farmer or contractor, the convenience factor is massive. You can access GPS, take calls, or listen to music without ever taking your hands off the wheel or controls. The 360-degree rotation feature is particularly useful here, allowing you to adjust your viewing angle instantly whether you are looking up at the sky for weather updates or down at the ground for navigation. The installation process is equally straightforward, requiring no tools or complicated instructions. You can attach it to your farm equipment in seconds, making it a practical addition to any rugged workflow.
However, this mount is not for everyone. It is specifically marketed as being suitable for tractors and farm equipment, and while it claims universal compatibility with smartphone sizes ranging from 2 inches to 3.75 inches wide, it does not offer the same level of integration into a modern car's interior design as a dedicated dashboard clamp. It is a tool-first solution, prioritizing function over form. If you are looking for a sleek accessory that blends into a luxury car's interior or if you do not operate heavy machinery, the bulky, industrial nature of this mount might feel out of place. It is best suited for those who value efficiency and durability above all else, backed by a family-owned business mission to provide high-quality products for tough jobs.

The FMLAUM Curved Clamp Cell is a specialized piece of hardware designed for one specific purpose: securing a smartphone to the dashboard of a Lincoln Corsair between 2020 and 2026. Unlike general-purpose mounts, this unit relies on a precise mechanical fit. The arc-shaped clamp mechanism is engineered to grip dashboard bezels firmly, ensuring the device does not shift even on uneven pavement. This is critical for highway travel, where constant speed changes and road imperfections can send a loose phone flying. The tension clip base allows for a spring-tension slip-on mounting that secures the phone without the need for adhesives or tools, offering a clean installation that respects the vehicle's original lines.
Durability and surface protection are the hallmarks of this design. The impact-resistant structure features a high-grade ABS chassis lined with soft-touch silicone padding. This combination resists wear and tear while remaining easy to wipe clean, which is essential for maintaining the look of a premium vehicle. The rubberized grip ensures that the mount stays put without scratching surfaces, addressing a common frustration with cheaper, hard-plastic alternatives that can mar expensive dashboards. Furthermore, the dual-pivot joints allow for quick transitions between landscape and portrait orientations without blocking windshield visibility, keeping your eyes on the road while still accessing navigation or media.
This product is exclusively for owners of the Lincoln Corsair model years 2020 through 2026. If you drive a different make or model, or an older year of the Corsair, this mount will not fit. It is not a universal solution. It is ideal for the driver who wants a shake-free experience during long commutes and values the protection of their car's interior finish. However, if you need a mount that works across multiple vehicles or for off-road use, this specific curvature and clamping style will limit your options significantly.
• Best for heavy machinery and vibration: Caddie Buddy Magnetic Phone Mount, due to its ultra-strong magnets designed for rough terrain.
• Best for specific vehicle fitment: FMLAUM Curved Clamp Cell, as it is custom-engineered for the Lincoln Corsair 2020-2026 dashboard.
• Best for scratch prevention: FMLAUM Curved Clamp Cell, featuring soft-touch silicone padding to protect dashboard surfaces.
• Best for universal smartphone sizing: Caddie Buddy Magnetic Phone Mount, accommodating phones from 2 inches to 3.75 inches wide.
• Best for off-road or farm use: Caddie Buddy Magnetic Phone Mount, built to withstand dust, rain, and constant movement.
• Best for highway stability: FMLAUM Curved Clamp Cell, with its firm tension retention designed to resist shifting on uneven pavement.
• Best for tool-free installation: Both products offer easy installation, but FMLAUM uses a spring-tension clip while Caddie Buddy uses a direct attachment method.
• Best for 360-degree flexibility: Caddie Buddy Magnetic Phone Mount, explicitly designed for adjusting angles in various farming scenarios.
In my opinion, if you are doing long haul trucking or operating heavy farm equipment, the Caddie Buddy Magnetic Phone Mount is the only logical choice. The environment you are working in demands a mount that can fight gravity and vibration, not just hold a phone in place. The magnetic hold provides the security needed when the ground shakes beneath you, and the 360-degree rotation lets you adapt to changing tasks instantly. Conversely, if you are driving a Lincoln Corsair on the highway, the FMLAUM Curved Clamp Cell is superior because it protects your dashboard and fits perfectly without any risk of slipping. For the specific use case of long haul trucking where durability and reliability are paramount, I would buy the Caddie Buddy immediately.
While it accommodates all smartphone sizes, the Caddie Buddy is specifically designed and manufactured for tractors and heavy equipment, so it may not offer the same aesthetic or precise fit for standard car dashboards as a dedicated vehicle mount.
No, the FMLAUM Curved Clamp Cell is explicitly listed as applicable only to the Lincoln Corsair 2020-2026 models, relying on a specific dashboard visor or bezel shape for its tension clip base.
The FMLAUM features a high-grade ABS chassis lined with soft-touch silicone, which is designed to resist wear and tear and prevent scratches, unlike standard hard plastic mounts that might damage interiors.
