1. Introduction Cadvia ("we," "us," or "our"), developed by Power Star APPS, is a mobile utility designed for Android devices. Our primary functionality includes multi-format CAD viewing, CAD to PDF conversion, and an integrated engineering toolbox (featuring tools like a decibel meter, bubble level, and protractor). We are committed to protecting your privacy while providing efficient, locally processed engineering tools.

2. Android Permissions Usage To provide the services within Cadvia, we require specific system permissions. We only request permissions that are strictly necessary for the app's technical operations and physical measurements. The following outlines the permissions requested by this application:
Camera - android.permission.CAMERA Required exclusively for the Picture Hanging Calibration and Protractor tools. The camera acts as a real-time visual background to help align physical objects and measure angles. We do not capture photos, record videos, or save any image data.
Record Audio - android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO Required exclusively for the Decibel Meter feature. This allows the app to capture real-time environmental noise levels to calculate decibel values. We do not record, save, or upload any audio data; the stream is instantly discarded.
Vibrate - android.permission.VIBRATE Allows the application to use the device's vibrator to provide haptic feedback (a brief vibration) when the Bubble Level tool reaches perfect horizontal or vertical calibration.
Write External Storage - android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Max SDK 28) Requested only on legacy devices running Android 9 (API level 28) and below. This is strictly required to save images of your Protractor measurement results directly to your device's photo gallery. We do not read or modify any other existing files on your device. For devices running Android 10 and above, this permission is not requested, as we utilize secure Sandbox storage mechanisms.
Dynamic Receiver - com.lixiangdong.cad.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION A custom security permission defined (protection level: signature) and used exclusively to manage internal app components. This ensures that dynamic broadcast receivers operate safely within the application environment and prevents other apps from sending or receiving internal broadcasts.
2.2. Purposes of Data Processing We process the limited technical information, sensor data, and system permissions requested for the following specific purposes:
Provision of Core Services: To enable local CAD file reading, PDF conversion, image exporting, and real-time physical measurements (decibels, angles) as initiated by the user.
User Experience Enhancements: To provide physical feedback (vibration) during precise measurement operations.
App Security & Stability: To ensure tools operate smoothly within the secure environment of the device without external data dependencies.
3. Data Collection and Use We believe in absolute data privacy. Cadvia is designed to function without the collection of any personal user data.
Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any identifiers.
File Data: All file processing (CAD parsing, PDF conversion, image saving) is performed locally on your device. We do not upload your files to any external servers.
Sensor & Measurement Data: Data generated by the microphone, camera, or orientation sensors is processed in real-time in the device's volatile memory and is instantly discarded.
Device Identifiers: We do not collect IMEI, AAID, or other persistent device identifiers.
4. Third-Party Sharing and Sales
Third-Party Sharing: Cadvia does not share any personal data with third parties.
Right to Know About Sharing: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know whether your personal data is shared with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We confirm that we do not share any personal data for such purposes.
Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal data. You have the right to know that your data is not sold to any third parties.
SDKs: Cadvia operates independently and does not integrate any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or tracking.
5. Data Retention We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.
Retention Period: Since Cadvia does not collect personal identifiers, record audio/video, or upload files to servers, we do not maintain a database of user data. Any sensor data used during a temporary active session is processed in real-time and is permanently destroyed after the session concludes.
Criteria for Retention: In the event that you contact us via email, we will retain your communication (including your email address) only for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry or as required by applicable laws.
Deletion: Once the purpose for processing is fulfilled, we securely delete the communication data. App data can be completely removed at any time by uninstalling the application.
6. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR) For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the legal basis for processing any localized technical data is the performance of the contract and our legitimate interest in providing functional measurement tools. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe our processing violates the GDPR.
7. Your Rights (CCPA/GDPR/VCDPA/LGPD) Depending on your location (such as California, Virginia, Brazil, or the EU), you have specific rights:
Right to Access/Know: You have the right to know and request disclosure of what personal data we collect. Since we do not collect or share your data, we will confirm this upon request.
Right to Correct/Rectify: You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal data. Since we do not collect or store your personal data, there is typically no information for us to modify.
Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of data. (You may achieve this by uninstalling the app, as all data is local).
Right to Opt-Out (Including VCDPA Requirements): You have the right to direct us not to process your personal data for the purposes of (i) targeted advertising, (ii) the sale of your personal data, and/or (iii) profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.
How to Exercise Your Opt-Out Rights: Because Cadvia is built on strict data minimalism, we do not engage in targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or any form of profiling. Therefore, your opt-out status is effectively active by default. We will process and honor your opt-out request immediately upon receipt in accordance with applicable laws.
LGPD (Brazil): Brazilian users have the right to confirm processing, access, and correct incomplete or inaccurate data under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados.
VCDPA (Virginia): Virginia users are informed of their rights to opt-out of profiling and targeted ads, and the right to correct inaccuracies in their personal data.
