Pre-doctoral researcher in theoretical chemistry and computational modeling at the University of Extremadura, conducting my research at the Center for Astrobiology (CAB) as part of the OPENS project.
My work focuses on the formation of amorphous interstellar water (ASW) and the detection of organic and prebiotic molecules. I simulate the sequential deposition of water molecules on cosmic dust grains, exploring the emergence of chiral patterns and possible enantioselective behaviors under cold and low-pressure conditions in the interstellar medium. In addition, I apply machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to analyze these systems.
I obtained my bachelor's degree in Chemistry (2021) and my master's degree in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modeling (2024) at the University of Extremadura. In 2022, I worked in the Reaction Dynamics and Kinetics group of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at UEx.
