The Computing and Network Security (CNS) Lab, led by Prof. Jinwoo Kim at the Department of Computer Engineering in Chungbuk National University, investigates how both humans and intelligent systems perceive, reason, and act in the presence of emerging cyber threats. Our work spans cloud and networked infrastructures, including SDN and SD-WAN, container and serverless platforms, and WebAssembly runtimes, as well as application layer systems such as blockchain, social VR, and AI-driven environments. By analyzing threats at the human, system, and AI levels, we design intelligent, adaptive, and practical security mechanisms that enhance resilience in real-world deployments.
