The Chibok Muslim Orphans Welfare Association (C-MOWA) is a grassroots, faith-based initiative founded by concerned youths of Chibok to support Muslim orphans, new converts to Islam, and struggling individuals in need. Our mission is inspired by the Qur'anic call to care for the weak and uphold the values of mercy, generosity, and brotherhood.
Since its humble beginning over six years ago, the Chibok Muslim Orphans Welfare Association (C-MOWA) has been a beacon of hope—uplifting the lives of orphaned children, new converts to Islam, and vulnerable Muslims in Chibok and surrounding areas.
Fueled by the spirit of brotherhood and mercy, C-MOWA began with local farming efforts and the generous hands of its founders. Today, we continue to grow with the help of kindhearted contributors and committed volunteers.
By Allah’s grace, our story is one of service, sacrifice, and sincere love for the Ummah.
The Association began as a humble effort: we worked on farms for people so they could pay us, and with those earnings—alongside community contributions—we began helping orphans in our town. With time, Allah made it grow.
Shelter and support orphaned children
Welcome and guide new converts to Islam
Provide aid to vulnerable Muslims without strength or support
Encourage compassion-driven action in our communities
We began by offering our labor on farms and using that payment to support orphans. As the needs grew, we were joined by generous contributors and supporters from within and outside Chibok who shared our burden and helped us grow.
Distribute food and clothing to orphans and new Muslims
Provide emergency assistance to Orphans
Celebrate Eid with orphans and converts
Help new Muslims integrate through basic Islamic support (Jalabiya, Hijab, prayer mats, and guidance)
Every hand counts. Whether you're donating, volunteering, or spreading the word, you are part of something noble. Together, we are rewriting the stories ofof our most vulnerable.
