Welcome to Soongsil Power Systems Lab
Grid modernization efforts have been increasingly important to address a wide range of challenges associated with current power grid and make it "smarter" through several cutting-edge technologies and advances in materials, communications, computation, and control. Power systems research at Soongsil University will be dedicated to investigate these new opportunities and develop a variety of new tools and techniques for facilitating reliable and robust next-generation power systems.

Summary
The power systems laboratory (PSL) at Soongsil University is looking for graduate students to study the next-generation power system network. The PhD position will be dedicated to investigate grid modernization efforts for facilitating the next-generation of decarbonized, decentralized, digitalized power system network. The PSL at Soongsil University is headed by Dr. Byungkwon Park and focuses on a wide range of theories and techniques to implement such a reliable and sustainable future power grid.

숭실대학교 전력시스템 연구실에서 차세대 그리드를 연구할 석/박사과정 학생을 모집합니다. 차세대 전력망 연구실의 주요 연구대상은 탈탄소화, 분산화, 디지털화된 차세대 그리드를 실현하기 위한 컴퓨터 기반의 그리드 첨단화 (grid modernization) 기술들로, 안정적이고 지속 가능한 미래 전력망을 구현하는 다양한 이론과 기술을 중점적으로 연구합니다. 또한, 본 연구실에서는 차세대 그리드와 관련된 미래 산업을 이끌어갈 글로벌 핵심인재를 양성합니다.
