At ByteSize, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the BytSizze mobile application designed for Android devices.
Because we believe you should have complete control over your intellectual property and personal data, BytSizze is designed to operate 100% offline. Your files never leave your device.
We do not require you to create an account, register, or provide any personal details (such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address) to use the App. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
When you import, paste, or optimize SVG or XML vector files within the App:
Local Processing Only: All parsing, minification, coordinate rounding, rendering, and palette extraction are processed strictly on your local device.
No Uploads: We do not host, operate, or maintain any cloud servers. Your source and optimized code files are never uploaded, stored online, or transmitted over the internet.
Sandbox Safety: Files loaded via the App are processed inside the Android secure application sandbox and are discarded from the App's temporary memory once closed.
We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs, crash reporters, trackers, or cookies (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or Mixpanel). Your interactions with the App are entirely private.
The App is architected to respect modern Android security guidelines by minimizing requested permissions:
System Document Picker (SAF): We use the native Android Storage Access Framework (SAF) to let you load files. This allows you to safely choose your SVG/XML files without requiring you to grant the App broad permissions to read your device's external storage (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE).
No Network Permission: The App does not declare or use the INTERNET permission, ensuring it is physically impossible for the App to send any data outside your device.
Clipboard Access: When you use the "Copy" feature, the App writes the optimized code directly to your local system clipboard. This interaction is handled entirely by your local Android operating system.
The App does not contain links to third-party websites, advertisements, or integrated third-party SDKs.
Our App is safe for users of all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information or transmit any data, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our App's functionality or legal obligations. Since the App operates offline and has no mechanism to push notifications to you, we encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically within the App's distribution platform (e.g., Google Play Store). Any changes will be accompanied by an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this document.
