Project: Health Rush
Project: Health Rush
Purpose:
"Project: Health Rush" has been a project that has been working on for a few months by Delil Mir and Baran Mustafa since December '23, with the goal of making a change in today's World by using what children of the current time gets effected by most, video games. The purpose of this project is to teach children into eating healthy food and trying to get them to losing their addiction/affection into fast food type of meals. To do this, we created an endless runner type of game with purpose of getting children into eating apples and avoiding eating burgers within the game for them to get the mindset of what is good for them and what causes harm to them. To create this game, we have used various apps and websites as such as Unity, Blender and Mixamo. We hope to make a difference by giving developing children, specially within primary school, advices on a healthy life.
Experiment:
For us to test our project on children, we came up with testing our game on our primary school students who are the perfect target group for our project. To do so, we will make a week long test process which will have the goal of checking the changes in their behaviour before and after experimenting our game on them. To do so, we will need several materials to do experiment so. We will need, student, computers, the game we have completed developing. After that all we have to do is first ask children questions to learn their thoughts on fast food and other stuff we wanna get information on. We just have to check the results before and after playing our game for a week to see if it made any difference on them. If it ended the way we want, that would mean that our project could partially achieve it's first goal at helping children into eating healthy, which we could grow into globally someday.
Analysis:
After playing our games, we have asked children a few questions to see if there was any effect after they played the game, we have made a chart based on our questions and the percentage of the answers we got. You can read the results from our questions down below.
Percentage of Children Who Enjoyed Our Game: 100%

You can as well as see the photos we took during the experiment as well as the chart we made below.
Conclusion:
It has been exactly 1 month since the first time we have started to experiment our project/game on the children. We have noted and analyzed everything we could find useful to see the changes and contributions we have made upon the children's eating habits to confirm our hypothesis of whether our game could actually make an influence on children to direct them towards healthy nutrients instead of the affection and addiction today's children have towards not-so-healthy foods as such as, fast-foods, sweets and other high calories having foods that affect their health in a worse way as the time goes with the development and introduction of new brands every new day. Of course, we weren't excepting to get perfect results since the start, but we knew that we could make a small or a huge change since the day we have started working. The results show that we managed to make more than half of the test group change their opinion on the food they consume on a daily-basis, successfully directing them into the world of healthy nutrients. This gave us motivation into expanding our goals and projects just from one, pushing us further to get to larger audiences, making more changes for the future of our current World, the children of the today.
