Byte Check Privacy Policy

Byte Check is a Mac app that copies files between drives, memory cards and folders you choose, and checks that the copies match the originals.
Data we collect
None. Byte Check does not collect, store, share or transmit any personal information or usage data. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking, and it does not connect to the internet.
Your files
Byte Check reads and writes only the drives, cards and folders you select, and only on your Mac. Your files never leave your computer.
Information stored on your Mac
Byte Check remembers which source and destination you last chose, and your settings, so it can reconnect to them. This information stays on your Mac and is never sent anywhere. Deleting the app removes it.
Third parties
Byte Check does not share any information with third parties, because it doesn't collect any.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
