Saturday, October 10
Noon- 3:00pm
Before The BIG Event kicks off in the evening, join us from Noon–3:00 PM on Saturday, October 10 for a fun, family-friendly hat experience hosted by Branded Brims by Whitney Cook.
Participants can choose their hat and use the supplies and stencils provided to create something completely their own! Cowboy-style and trucker hat participants will create a custom wood-burned look, with plenty of stencil options available, including a special Byron Bear stencil! For our younger participants, kids’ felt hats will be available to decorate with fun embellishments and flowers...no burning tools involved.
Separate registration is required for each hat option, and registration links can be found below.
And there’s even more happening! During the event, our Byron Post Prom Silent Auction will transition from online bidding to in-person bidding at Bearwood Event Barn. You do not need to participate in the hat event to stop by, everyone is welcome to come browse the silent auction and bid!

Each year, Byron Post Prom is organized entirely by parents of the junior class who volunteer their time, talents, and energy to create a memorable night for our students.
Planning begins the summer before the school year and continues for months as our parent volunteers work together to fundraise, gather donations, plan activities, secure prizes, coordinate food, decorate, and bring all the pieces together for one incredible night.
Post Prom takes place immediately following the school’s Prom dinner and dance and provides students with a safe, welcoming, and FUN place to continue celebrating with their friends.
It takes months of planning, countless volunteer hours, generous community support, and a whole lot of teamwork, but when the doors open and we see our students laughing, playing games, winning prizes, making memories, and enjoying the night together, it is all worth it.
Post Prom may happen on one night, but it is truly a year-long community effort.
From the junior parents who volunteer, to the local businesses and organizations that donate, to the families and community members who support our fundraisers, every contribution helps us create an unforgettable experience for Byron students.
