I am a mathematics Ph.D. candidate at the University of Delaware under the supervision of Sebastian Cioaba and Michael Tait, currently in my fifth year. I expect to graduate in spring of 2026. I am originally from Kansas, and I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas. In fall 2026 I will join the Department of Mathematics at UC San Diego as Stephen E. Warschawski Visiting Assistant Professor.
My research focuses on extremal combinatorics, spectral graph theory, and algebraic graph theory. Some topics I like are pseudorandom graphs, combinatorics of permutations, spectral Turán problems, and Sidon sets.
Outside of mathematics, I enjoy birdwatching and chess. Occasionally I pick up the violin.
