Had a couple trips booked starting from February this year, however between provincial lockdowns and other circumstances they kept being cancelled. So decided to do a couple day trips - One to Rain L, and the second to a couple spots along the 60 corridor. For the first day trip I had been through Rain L before, but it wasn't until after I had later learned of a couple spots of interest... Murphy's law it was snowing when I had woken up to load the car, thankfully skies mostly cleared up as I was about an hour into my drive. Was still a little chilly, but not too bad - It was right in that 'perfect' zone of being cold enough to need a jacket/sweater, yet warm enough for the bugs to be out as soon as I got off the lake LOL! Nonetheless it was a great start to the season! The next day trip was relatively quick as I was 'in the 'neighbourhood' so was happy to be able to swing in a little paddling/hiking... With the province slowing opening up, I'm now cautiously looking forward to my next trips into the park!
