I had this trip planned for some time, however a few days before I was set to head out I learned some details of a couple places in the park I wanted to check out. So between this and the fact that the weather forecast was fluctuating on ugly (which I frankly just didn't feel like being a hero in bad weather on the solo trip) - I decided to do a base camping trip exploring the sites I wanted to see, then driving back to the campsites for the night... Regardless it was great to be able to get in one last trip before the colder weather sets in!

With the lower water level this time of year, was able to see what appeared to be the remnants of the dock...
