This project was to develop the biomechanics model for Mechano-Regulation of stem cell differentiation and tissue regeneration in knee articular joint. It is the sequentially coupled mass diffusion - porous elastic analysis. The developed model including mechano-regulatory algorithm was used to simulate cellular processes and to predict tissue differentiation during fracture repair. The user-defined USDFLD was modified to consider the effect of cell concentration in fracture site. This subject was initially a little bit complicated to me. However, end of the preliminary model development, it is quite solid and clear theory for the bone healing process. The tutorial video described the overall procedure for this model development.
