I purchased tickets for the Billie Eilish concert March 14 in Chicago, IL. The venue now requires everyone to be vaccinated and not everyone is. When I purchased the tickets this was not a requirement. I wanted a full refund. Pretty sad that Ticketmaster is offering a refund for the tickets because of this change and Vividseats refuse to help out. These tickets cost me over $1,500. I tried to contact them via phone and you never get a person! It is all automated with no option of speaking to a person! Very annoying! I tried chatting online and had to try 4 times before someone actually came on because my order number was not coming up even though I entered the same number 4 times. The customer service rep was very rude and did not care about anything, not even helping out. All in all, I am not able to get a refund unless the concert is cancelled. Horrible company, do not purchase tickets through them. Not sure how they are even still in business.
Guess I can be happy it only cost me $112 to learn to never deal with an independent resale marketplace again. Got to vivid seats by mistake when I thought I was on UNLV website. Totally deceptive practices. No follow up emails with reminders and caveats. Absolutely horrific customer service. Hard to imagine why they reached out to me almost two months later after my attempts to reach them on the day and days following the event were worthless. Probably the complaint I filed with Illinois Attorney General. Someone needs to shut these people down.
My 77 year old husband purchased 2 VIP tickets to a concert for over $400. When the tickets were delivered electronically, they were 2 General Admission Standing Room Only tickets. General Admission tickets were $90 each. I contacted Vividseats to get the tickets I paid for. Both my husband and I are unable to stand for long periods of time. I was told that I should have read the small print which gives them the right to raise ticket prices. They refused to provide us with the VIP tickets we paid for or make any adjustment.
I had purchased tickets for the outlaw music fest in Raleigh Nc and spent $489. Upon entrance the front gate had trouble scanning my digital tickets. Between the frustration and the tickets not working we were let in. When we tried to go to our seats the would not allow us to gain entry. We were told we had no seats listed on our tickets. Our tickets were for section 2 row P. I noticed there was no seat listed and thought that they would scan the ticket. I was wrong. I was told to go to main gate and get tickets. After showing them all the info like order number and receipt I was still denied access to our seat. I want my money back as this has created problems. Horrible site to buy from and a fraudulent site
We were charged 500% more for our Garth Brooks concert tickets (we were unaware of average tickets prices at the time of purchase). This company has poor customer service, shady scam tactics, and you should NEVEr purchase from them.
My vivid order #34264919. Three tickets section 306, row4, seats 5,6 and 7. I cannot download these tickets. Can you assist me. My email robert.tice6@gmail.com My # 609 617 0753 My address, 18 Marino Drive, Clarksboro, NJ 08020
I am a first and last time user of Vividseats. I spent $619 on May 15 for Texas Rangers/Astros baseball tickets. Vividseats emailed me that I need to download two other web sites (MLB and Ticketmaster) to receive them! I did and after 2 hours on the phone, a dozen emails and two attempts to resend, I still have not received! They wanted me to change my email!!! I never had this problem with StubHub. I will dispute on my credit card. No other option since they can not correctly transfer my paid for tickets!
I purchased 7 tickets for the Carolina Panthers and Raiders game through Vivd.seat.com . I paid $700 dollars to an NFL game . On August 31 I received a notice from the Carolina Panthers Facebook that fans will not be allowed to the September 13 game due to COVID 19. I called them about my refund they informed me to call Ticket Masters or Vivid. I called Vivid about the situation and they said it was too late. They sent out an email on July 21 about canceling of the game Tickets. The NFL sent out information after August 31. Vivid is going to credit $700 for future events. We still have COVID 19 . Buy your tickets from Ticket Masters they send your money back if the event is canceled.
I bought tickets for a niece who lives in another country . The concert has been rescheduled x3. & both Ticketmaster & STG are offering refunds. Vivid seats will not refund unless it is cancelled. I would not recommend nor will i ever use them again. Very difficult people to work with.
Will not refund concert tickets cancelled due to Covid, instead said I had tickets for event 11 months from now. I will NEVER use this company again. If anyone ever has a joint legal class action case, please let me know to be included. bhitzy@gmail.com
I purchased two baseball tickets redsox and Indians. in January 2020 117.00 pandemic started baseball season for fans is gone I been trying to get a refund since April they keep saying games are post poned for June 1st will I get my money vivid seats are a fraud
Horrible experience. Tickets are not only outrageously inflated but there are fees for special delivery plus. But they do not deliver you have to wait in an additional line at the venues will call. I have ordered tickets from a multitude of companies for football playoffs. Plays, concerts, etc. And been so pleased but not this time. This is long distance travel so I wanted tickets in hand but asking over and over again got me no where. Even went through my credit card for a refund and that also refused. No.internet delivery either. A pox on this company and hope others bad experiences close this place down.
Reward Credit is the average value of 10 tickets excluding taxes, fees and processing costs. It could take up to one day to display the progress update in your account. Each purchase progress expires 24 months from their date of issuance. Earning is capped at 5 Reward Credits (50 stamps) per calendar year.
I purchased tickets from Vivid Seats for Women's Country Music Tour at the Grand Ol Opry in Nashville, TN. I bought 5 tickets; had to choose seats which apparently the venue was so popular that I could not even get the seats together and chose 3 seats in one row and 2 seats in another row over 2 transactions - see price I paid ($100 per ticket).
When I arrived at the Grand Ol Opry, I discovered I had no seats, and that there was not going to be a music performance, but a backstage walking tour--and that tickets could have been purchased for $50 at the door. There were about 14 people there for this tour. I feel I was misled and am requesting a refund of my money immediately. I explained this to a staff member at the Grand Ol Opry and was told they were having many problems with fraudulent ticket sales and to pursue this with Vivid Seats.
We're sorry that you feel misled, Liz, as it's our goal to make sure that fans are confident in what they're purchasing. In this case, we see from your screenshot that these tickets were accurately labeled as tour admissions, as this the Opry's Women of Country is not a live performance, but a backstage tour. This is also why the ticket notes stated, "The tour starts at 4:15 p.m." before purchase. We regret any confusion, though, and can clarify further over social media DM if needed.
Beyond Disappointed: I purchased 4 Phillies spring training tix in January for the March 17th game against Toronto, Email said confirmed, Vivid app said they were on there and the MLB ballpark app said they were on there. I traveled to Clearwater from New Jersey, drove to stadium only to find out when I opened the tickets on my phone all my tickets were rejected! I went to ball park customer service only to be told that my seats were sold to someone else! When I contacted Vivid seats I was told they would put a claim in for me (claim was rejected).
I emailed proof that the seats were indeed sold to someone else and that my tickets were rejected but they denied me cause they said the seller had proof that the tickets were transferred to me! They didn't care about the proof I sent from both apps and the ball park themselves (ball park emailed me the screenshot of our resold seats). It is true in other reviews that a manager or a rep from the claims department will not talk to you which is very unprofessional!- : Side note Anyone who buys the Allianz insurance for their tickets just a word of advice it does not cover rejected tickets.
I purchased tickets in February for the Margarita Fest. The tickets were to be transferred to me today, or earlier. Yesterday, I received notice that they were ready for transfer. (from an Australian TicketMaster account for a Missouri event) I still can't accept them. I receive an error each time (multiple times) stating the tickets cannot be transferred at this time. I want a refund and they say they can't refund me. I will be contacting multiple organizations about Vivid Seats and their policies. They say I am buyer protected, yet tell me since the sale occurred they can't do anything about a refund.
I purchased 2 tickets to a concert one evening and called the next morning to cancel. That is not an option and apparently the tickets I 'bought' had to be picked up in person from the seller on the day of the event... Next option was to sell them. They can't even do that! I don't have the tickets and they suggested I Google search ticket sales and take a screenshot of the section (no seat or row) that I am supposed to sell and transfer after I pick them up in person on the day of the event. Bottom line they are a weak middle man and only sell tickets they don't have for a huge fee. With no mechanism to put them back up to sell for a loss. RIP OFF ALERT - I will never use them again.
