Troubleshooting -
Experiencing issues with ButterflyCounts?
The Question Mark Icon on the screen provides you with the details of using all the features of the App.
If the issue was not found there, follow these steps to resolve common problems quickly.
Else, please don't hesitate to contact us.
1. General App Issues:
Restart the App: If ButterflyCounts is not functioning as expected, try closing and reopening the app. This can often resolve minor glitches.
Double-click the Home button (or use the App Switcher gesture on devices without a Home button).
Swipe up on the ButterflyCounts app preview to close it.
Reopen ButterflyCounts from your home screen.
2. Location issues:
If the location is ON, the map will show relevant data and the output will contain location data.
If it is OFF do the following on the Iphone
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
Make sure Location Services is on.
Scroll down to find the app.
Tap the app and select the option: While Using the App
In case one does not want Location data then select the option: Never
3. Changing the preloaded list :
Note : The preloaded list cannot be changed during a count.
If you still want to change :
>Tap the data box, Tap the Share Icon on the next screen and save (share) your data
>Delete the data
>Now the Binoculars Icon that appears will go to the Preload List Screen.
