Located in Oroville just southwest of Kelly Ridge, the Berry Creek Rancheria provides services to citizens, strives to protect and preserve the Maidu people, and host projects and events to support the greater community. The Tyme Maidu have lived in what is known today as Butte County since time immemorial. Tyme Maidu history, worldviews, and relationships with the land, water, and non-human relatives in ancestral territory “stretches back to the beginning of time.” The Berry Creek Rancheria strives to protect and continue Maidu ways of life for future generations.
