Templar/Seeker characters will be on thin ice. Not because I'm against it (because I think it could have the potential for a lot of character growth on both sides), but because his whole backstory will make him less trusting of them.
I think world experience will be a factor as well, rather than age. Compassion would be as old as the emotion/expression itself, ancient, but Compassion as Cole is very young and still getting the hang of being more human. He's not completely naive or anything, but his world experience is limited and it could put a little too much of a power imbalance in some relationships.

Ask me about it if you have a specific character in mind and we can discuss it.
Can actually sing fairly well. He started to learn when some of the people he tried to help were thinking of a family member that would sing to them as a child so he could comfort them. He found that he enjoyed it.
Screw what canon says, he's good with animals and of all of the mounts, he has a fondness for the dracolisks.
His eyes glow blue when he accesses the Fade. He doesn't use magic like mages do, but he "talks" to the Fade. It's exhausting, however, so depending on what he's trying to do, it can knock him out or make him very weak. Either way, he's super vulnerable after.
He does NOT do well in places where a lot of history went down, specifically old battlefields. The memories of what happen that push at the Veil are loud and disorienting for him. He can help a spirit or person, but he can't help memories. He's having to deny himself that aspect of what he is and it gets overwhelming.Â
