Why 98?

"I use 98 as mainly a form of branding, it makes it easier to find me. It also serves as a release numbering system similar to NIN's Halos and Nulls and Depeche Mode's bong. I use it because it is my favourite number."

Unreleased Material

"I have albums worth of unreleased material dating back to 2023. In fact Phobia is technically my 11th album. I've considered releasing material from the 9th and 10th albums as they're the only ones I consider listenable. Most were made in a month. 'If You Want Me', 'Back To This Place' and early versions of 'Thanatophobia' originate from the 9th album. Chronophobia is an outtake from the 11th album. I will keep these album deeply buried and hidden from the public as I view them as embarrasing. Phobia does not have many outtakes. There are the guide vocals for the Sammie Reeher tracks, an unfinished 9th track demo, an unreleased third Sammie track, two tracks that were demos from the 9th and 10th albums, a different version of Chronophobia that was a completely different song that later evolved into 'Something to Say', and a 'Not Deax Yet' demo. Eclipse has about another two hours of unreleased material. There were a few that were cut last second 'Playing With a Gun', 'Hopes and Prayers of a Fool', 'Purpose of a Lie', and 'Can It Wait'. There were others that were cut early on 'One of Us Is Lying (While The Other One Is Dying)', 'Passing The Time', 'That You Are', and 'I Can't Stand You'. I have two different demo discs of Eclipse one is a single disc which was almost the final tracklisting but I felt that it wasn't substantial enough thats when I expanded it into the tracklisting we have now. There is also a 4 hour two disc one that has pretty much everything that is radically different than the final album which I might put out for the one year anniversery of the album. There was also an EP that almost came out that I dubbed Penumbra. It would have included 'Playing With a Gun', 'Can It Wait', 'Purpose of a Lie', 'Rotting Away' and 'Flesh'. I thought it felt rushed so I scrapped it."

Eclipse is a conept album.

"Yes, Eclipse is a concept album. It is about a mentally ill man who goes insane eventually leading to his suicide.

Not Dead Yet describes the protagonists inner voices telling him what he should do. Which shows that he starts off strong.

Blood, Sweat and Tears shows the first breaks in the psyche. Mainly describing a start to withdrawal from society. (Look at last verse)

Leech is paranoia. Pretty much saying they're using you.

Back To This Place is a continued withdrawal while still desiring to go out but not having the energy to.

Out Right is wanting to fix/save yourself.

Something to Say is extreme paranoia and the point of no return this leads directly into If You Want Me.

If You Want Me is the complete withdrawal from society.

In Your Head is the final break this is were the man starts accepting his fate.

Bleed Out is the takeover referring to himself as 'you' and no longer 'I' which is the tonal opposite of 'Not Dead Yet'. This is the suicide.

The Final Word is an epilogue."

Where is Embryonic at progress wise?

"I already have about the same amount of material run-time wise as Eclipse. My goal right now is 32 tracks. I have ten non-instrumental tracks and 5 ambient tracks currently and I have been writing more and I have bits and pieces of songs. So we're looking at a potentially 3 hour album which seems intimidating but personally I don't give a shit about appealing to people and being marketable. I might end up using Eclipse outtakes."

Unreleased Material Part 2

"I actually originally planned to release material for Phobia's one year anniversary. There were two different 'One Year Of Fear' releases that I thought about. They would've contained previously mentioned Phobia outtakes. The two unnamed songs were going to be Apeirophobia, and Tyrannophobia. There was also a demo for Chronophobia that I recorded in a RV in Utah alongside another completely unreleased track. As well as two tracks that I recorded earlier and later sampled throughout Phobia. Which I will list.

1. Tokophobia (Untitled Demo): Will see release on next month's single.

2. Chronophobia Demo: One day it'll be released.

3. Thanatophobia Demo: B-side?

4. Wanted But Not Needed: Recorded alongside the Chronophobia demo. May remain unreleased.

5. Aperiophobia: Very messy demo which dates back to the same sessions as 'Back to This Place'. Maybe? We'll see how I feel about it.

6. Tyrannophobia: It is much too loud and much too long. 

7. Chronophobia (Something To Say Demo): Yes, 'Something To Say' evolved from a song that is completely different than both tracks. In fact Chronophobia was originally supposed to be Nyctophobia.

8. Anything, Everything: The third Sammie track. I might do it with my vocal as she doesn't want it released with hers. Though its riff is a little too close to 'Barracuda' for my liking.

9. Nostalgia: Sounds like a Minecraft song. Maybe? Though I doubt it.

10. Its All Over: It has been sampled multiple times throughout Phobia so maybe.

11. Alternate Neophobia Mix: One day. It just uses a different drum preset.

12. Not Dead Yet Demo: Maybe. Though it is very bland (intentionally was written intentionally bad to mess with someone I didn't like who wanted to work with me). Also very derivitive of many Genesis songs.

As for Eclipse I will just list the titles and explain what my plans are for them.

1. Hopes and Prayers of a Fool: I have recorded and demoed this one multiple times it has been finished for about the same time as the single for Not Dead Yet. It has not yet found its place thought it'll probably see a live debut eventually.

2. One of Us Is Dying: This will most likely see a B-side release with an Embryonic single as it is just an instrumental very much similar to the instrumentals on NIN's The Fragile.

3. Out Of Ear: Finished. Will most likely be on Embryonic. 

4. Playing With a Gun: Mostly finished, needs a decent vocal take. Might get rewritten. Of the outtakes this is most likely to get finished alongside Out Of Ear. You can briefly hear the beginning of this one at the end of the single version of Not Dead Yet.

5. Purpose of a Lie: Has a finished instrumental. Though I might rerecord it.

6. I Can't Stand You: Has a finished instrumental. Too high for my vocal range and has had about six different lyric rerwrites over it.

7. Passing The Time: Might be a B-Side. It is rather short I think it is under a minute.

8. Can It Wait: Has two versions both finished. It is an instrumental though it doesn't really have a home on Embryonic. So it might become a B-side.

9. No Matter How I Try: Written to mimic Oingo Boingo. Has a studio demo, might get reworked.

10. Everyone Is Leaving: Written to mimic Oingo Boingo. Has a studio demo, has a rework in progress but might not see finality.

11. (Another Day) Just Passes By: Written to mimic Oingo Boingo (do you see a pattern). Has a studio demo and a, very messy, rework that is finished for Embryonic but will probably be left off.

12. Untitled Instrumental 2: Written very early in the workings of Eclipse. Very transitional between the first two albums. Also very repetitive. Instrumental one became Eclipse (track).

13. Untitled Demo: Weitten to mimic Oingo Boingo. Think if the Beetlejuice Opening Titles, Little Guns and Nasty Habits has a love child. It is very much a polka sounding track. It is extremely repetative though I could redo it but I don't see how it'd work on Embryonic. B-side? It also has a long piano solo at the end where I just had fun.

14. That You Are: This leans more industrial. The track is messy but finished. Needs a vocal rewrite and a rerecording before anything is done. But if it is finished it'll be filler.
