The Game Money Wars

Physical Education

Hello, my name is Ms. Burke. I'm the Elementary Health and Physical Education Instructor. I hope you had some time to enjoy time with family, relax and, of course, stay active over the summer. My goal in Physical Education is to increase body awareness while performing various physical activities. Students will learn the health-related benefits of regular physical activity and the skills to adopt a physically active and healthy lifestyle. The discipline provides learning experiences that meet the developmental needs of all students. The standards-based physical education program also offers an excellent opportunity to ensure that students develop positive social skills, think strategically, and accept responsibility for their actions.

Physical Education will primarily take place inside and outside, so please dress appropriately and with sneakers.

If you have any questions or concerns, you can reach me at burkeh@lopatcongschool.org.

Sincerely,

Heather Burke P.E. Teacher
