Can someone help me find research?
Yes, of course. Please see Research.
What records do you have?
Please see here for a list of the types of resources we have. If you are seeking something in particular that isn't on the list, we suggest you contact us. We hold both standard and unique records. Many of the records we hold aren't available online and have the honour of living at our library. Other records have been compiled directly by members and aren't available anywhere else.
Can I access Ancestry with my membership?
No. We have a wealth of other accurate resources available to cross reference, and don’t require it.
Does the BGA Library have wi-fi?
Unfortunately, no. If you require wi-fi we suggest that you hotspot your device.
What resources can I buy?
Please see our list of books and resources for sale here. Please contact us in regards as to whether they will be suitable for your purpose before purchase.
Why don't you sell resources online?
We operate our sales in this manner because we don’t wish to sell any item and it not be relevant to your need. We don’t accept refunds and when a resource doesn’t suit, it can be upsetting to people.
Do you use my personal information for your family history records?
No. Please see how we treat your information here; Privacy.
