This holiday season will be different. Whether you have lost your home, know someone who has, or are facing any other circumstance, Hurricane Helene has significantly impacted our community. The progress made over the past few months has been remarkable. Our current situation has been achieved through the collaborative efforts of the private, non-profit, and government sectors. While there is still much work to do, we have made a strong start in rebuilding our town.
In this season of gratitude, I want to express my appreciation for your resilience and dedication to helping those in need. Our community’s strength in the face of adversity showcases the unique and kind spirit of Asheville, and I am proud to call this place home.
As we approach the colder months, some of our friends and neighbors may face additional challenges. Please share the resources below with anyone who may need assistance during the holiday season and beyond. Let’s continue to lead with compassion, kindness, and collaboration, ensuring that everyone in Asheville has the opportunity to thrive and rebuild.
