After Goku defeats the Saiyans, Bulma volunteers to travel to Piccolo's home planet Namek and use the Namekian Dragon Balls to restore Yamcha and the others back to life. In need of a spaceship, Mr. Popo reveals one to Bulma, which had been the ship Kami had used to travel to Earth when he was a boy. She repairs the ship with the help of her father and flies off to Namek with Krillin and Son Gohan.[20] After Goku defeats the tyrant Frieza, Yamcha and the others who were killed are revived by Porunga, the dragon of the Namekian Dragon Balls. Vegeta returns to Earth, staying with Bulma and her family.

Bulma has been portrayed by Jeannie Hsieh in the unofficial live-action Dragon Ball movie Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins. She was also featured in the 1990 unofficial Korean adaptation where she was played by Lee Ju Hee. Bulma appeared in the live-action film Dragonball Evolution, portrayed by Emmy Rossum.[44] Rossum described her portrayal of Bulma in Dragonball Evolution as "pretty bad-ass, but still quirky and fun, and kind of ridiculous in the way she is in the anime."[44]

Reviewing the live-action Dragonball Evolution for IGN, Christopher Monfette said that Emmy Rossum's performance of Bulma is "something of a departure from the anime's vision" of the character, but "brings a lot of kick-ass chick charisma to the role."[52]

After Vegeta comes back with the Dragon Balls in tow, Bulma is the one who summons the dragon forth. While Beerus says Vegeta gets the job done quickly as his errand boy, Bulma reproaches the Hakaishin for this, and commends Vegeta for his hard work, rewarding him with a kiss on the cheek. As Shenron is summoned, Bulma steps up to ask Shenron for the location of the final Super Dragon Ball. However, she realizes things won't be this simple as the wish is beyond Shenron's powers. Because of this, she decides to go with the original plan to make the Super Dragon Radar. When Goku realizes he forget to wish the North Kai back to life, Bulma simply tells him to forget it.

The default argument in defense of Bulma's worth is that she created the dragon radar. However, this isn't entirely true. As seen in many of the episodes, friends (and enemies alike) already have this technology. In fact, it's implied in Dragon Ball that the dragon radar had been conceptualized before Goku had even been born. We witness that Emperor Pilaf, as well as The Red Ribbon Army, had already possessed this technology for ages. However, Bulma had improved the dragon radar, giving it slightly more precision to locate the dragon balls. In other words, Bulma did make a contribution as far as the dragon radar goes, but it definitely would have existed with or without her. So, it's not exactly the best reason to credit Bulma for being a character of exceptional value.

Throwing it back to the old-school episodes of Dragon Ball, we see Goku offer to help a lost turtle reach the ocean (which is over 100 miles away). Since he and Bulma had partnered up to find all of the dragon balls together, this caught her off guard. She refused to carry the turtle back to the ocean because she said it would take too much time. Luckily, Goku's open heart and stubbornness won in this dispute (which was actually a good thing for Bulma because they got a dragon ball out of the deal). Needless to say, going out of her way for a stranger only really reaches a minimal extent; the only thing she did offer the turtle is a bowl of water. Bulma's extremely unwilling to do for others unless it ties into her own self-beneficial motives somehow. This sheds a lot of light on her compatibility with Vegeta, although, that's not necessarily a good thing...

I know, I know. "It's not canon." If you think about it, it's sad that even in a non-canon knockoff such as Dragon Ball GT, Bulma is still the cause of chaos. If you've seen it, you'll likely know where I'm going with this. If you haven't, then don't waste time watching it, take my word for it. Bulma is to blame for Omega Shenron's serious damage to Earth. Due to her careless use of Dragon Balls for almost anything, they accumulated negative energy which allowed the evil dragons to manifest on Earth. Syn Shenron, the most powerful of the seven dragons, became Omega Shenron after eating all of the Dragon Balls. After which, he almost destroys Earth entirely, nearly killing Goku. While she is brilliant, there seems to be a repetitive pattern of her ideas getting the other characters into trouble.

While this is sort of a jest (on Toriyama's part) toward the stereotypical 'hysterical women' it also has a lot to do with Bulma's personality. Within the episodes and Manga, Bulma has a serious problem with throwing tantrums. Come on, the girl has practically everything, even dragon balls (after a certain point), yet she feels she's entitled to complain? Krillin, Goku, Vegeta, Yamcha, among others have died multiple times and still choose to put themselves in danger to protect others. No matter what, though, Bulma finds a way to make their less-than-ideal destruction from the fights seemingly worse by throwing a fit about them afterward. Clearly, she's accustomed to a spoiled lifestyle because she has plenty of money and tech to get what she wants most of the time and dragon balls to revive whomever she'd like, so what's the deal?

If it wasn't already evident from the plethora of previous examples, Bulma doesn't seem to have much self-worth. She uses her lady parts as a bribe in exchange for the various things she'd like to have. Right off the bat, we see her do this with young Goku in exchange for his dragon ball, and a couple episodes later she does the same with Master Roshi (except she realized, later, that she hadn't even had underwear on). There have been countless incidents (not just in the beginning episodes) where Bulma is seen coaxing men into doing what she'd like in exchange for some sort of gross return. However, her lack of self-worth is also pretty obvious in her relationships. She stayed with Yamcha for five years and even considered marrying him even though he cheated on her. Vegeta's an entirely other story altogether, but he's not exactly a 'nice guy' either. For being the main female protagonist in Dragon Ball, you'd think she'd set a better example for self-worth.

Upon her return she possessed Bulma her first victims were Bulla and Vegita before she ventured out to find Goku and the others. In the battle she killed all of the Z fighters including Goku and fought Beerus, before he died he transferred some power to Krillin which allowed him to fight against her on even ground however before he could kill her she changed her face to that of his daughter allowing her to obliterate his upper half. A year later she had wiped out all life on Earth, destroyed the dragon balls and even killed Shenron and Toriyama. At this point Frieza arrived and sent out his forces to scout the planet, upon decrypting a message from Toriyama he grabs a regeneration syringe and attempt to revive Krillin who the message said is the only one that could defeat her. Demon Bulma reveals she has taken control of all of those she had presumably killed and uses them to wipe out Frieza's men forcing Frieza to release a chained up Broly. During the battle Frieza attempts to inject Krillin with the regeneration syringe but is killed by Demon Bulma and the syringe is destroyed. Before he is killed Broly transfers his energy to Krillin and delivers a blow to her face causing it to crack and one of her eyes becomes Bulma's.

Using her own sword Krillin manages to slice her in half separating her from Bulma and delivering a killing blow. While Bulma mourns the loss of her friends and family Krillin ventures out to find the other Dragon Balls. He finds both the Namekian and Super Dragon Balls destroyed and their respective dragons killed. However the screen Glitches and we see Demon Bulma holding Krillin, his face showing signs of being possessed calling the previous events into question.

ound the Two Star Dragon Ball in her basement. She created the Dragon Radar to find the other Dragon Balls so she can wish for a lifetime supply of strawberries, but later decides she wants to wish for the perfect boyfriend instead. She began her quest for the other balls during her summer vacation and after a couple of days she found the five star ball in a cave. Nine days later she went to Mount Paozu to find the next one when she accidentally hit a young boy named Goku with her Car. Bulma was the first girl Goku had ever seen and even more so, the second human Goku sees, after his guardian, Grandpa Gohan who died. After Goku took Bulma to his house, she finds out that he has the four star Dragon Ball, and explains the legend and power behind them. After failing to seduce Goku for the Dragon Ball, she decides to become traveling partners with him to which he agrees, though she deliberately neglected to tell him that the Dragon Balls scatter after the wish is made. Later that night when camping in a Capsule House in Skull Valley, Bulma ends up introducing Goku to several elements that he was deprived of in his isolation such as technology, bathing and even the anatomy of women (by accident). The next morning. Goku decides to walk a sea Turtle back to the beach which Bulma unhappily agrees to since she doesn't want to be left alone and defenseless. When they got him to the beach they met Master Roshi, who gave Goku the Flying Nimbus for bringing him back. Bulma who saw Roshi's dragon ball got it from him in exchange for showing him her panties (which she didn't know were not on at the time because Goku removed them while she was sleeping that morning). When the two continue their journey, Bulma tries to use the Flying Nimbus, but was rejected since she is not pure be457b7860
