Active voice में Tense के 12 रूप है जबकि passive voice में 8 मात्र रूप है।
Note:- किसी भी Perfect Continuous तथा future →Imperfect tense/Continuous tense का passive नहीं होता है।Gender rules to change the voice

Active voice को Passive voice में transform करने के लिए सबसे पहले Active voice के object को Passive voice का subject बना लेते हैं तथा Active voice के subject को Passive voice के object बना लेते हैं।
Is /am/ are /was /were /been/ being का use sentence के tense के अनुसार करते हैं।
V³ के बाद by तथा by के बाद object.

एस. कुमार वाच्य पढ़ाते हैं।Passive :- Voice is taught by S. Kumar.
एस. कुमार के द्वारा वाच्य पढ़ाया जाता है।1. Object को subject बनाये।

यदि Object के स्थान पर objective case का कोई pronoun दे रखा हो तो उसे Nominative case के Pronoun में change कर देते हैं।

कभी कभी देखा जाता है कि passive voice वाले Sentence में by+ object नहीं दिया रहता है और इसे कई विद्यार्थियों को समस्या होती है। आइए से समझे:
जब Sentence मैं कर्ता का चर्चा ना हो।
जब Sentence मैं कर्ता understood ( ) हो।
जब यह ज्ञात हो कि यह काम एक या दो व्यक्तियों के सिवाय कोई और नहीं कर सकता।
Active :- The traffic police cut an invoice of 50000.
ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने 50000 का चालान काटा।Passive :- An invoice of 50000 was cut 50000 invoice was deducted.
50000 का चालान काटा गया।# यहां Passive sentence में कर्ता और " by" शब्द का चर्चा नहीं हुआ है क्योंकि, 50000 का चालान काटा गया।इस वाक्य में कर्ता का चर्चा न होते हुए भी हम जान सकते हैं कि जब चालान काटेगा तो एक ट्रैफिक पुलिस ही। इसलिए कुछ Passive sentence मे कर्ता और " by " शब्द का चर्चा नहीं रहता है।

Imperative sentences से order/ command ( आदेश/ आज्ञा ) का भाव व्यक्त हो तो उसे Imperative /Command sentence कहते हैं तथा ऐसे sentences को Active से Passive में Change करने के लिए " Let " से शुरू करते हैं।
E g :-Active :- V¹ + obj
Passive :- Let + S + be + V³ + obj
Active :- Switch off the mobile.
मोबाइल बंद कर ले।Passive :- Let the mobile be switched off.

उन लोगों को बाहर करो।Passive :- Let them be turned out.
उन लोगों को बाहर कर दिया जाए।Note:- Let से शुरू होने वाले हिंदी की पहचान यह है कि इसका अंत आ ए ई तथा जाए शब्द से होता है।

उसे एक आवेदन लिखने के लिए कह दिया जाए।12. जब Imperative sentenceसे Advice suggest सलाह सुझाव का भाव व्यक्त हो तो Active से Passive मे change करने के लिए should be का use करते हैं।

13. जब Imperative sentence से please/ kindly (कृप्या) का भाव व्यक्त हो तो इससे request (अनुरोध) का भाव स्पष्ट होता है अतः हम please/ kindly को you are requested to में change कर देते हैं।

मेरे राधा को बता देने के लिए तुम से अनुरोध किया जाता है।14. लेकिन जब Imperative sentence के intransitive verb से शुरू हो और Advice/ Order/ Suggest के भाव व्यक्त हो तो Active को Passive मैं इस तरह से change कर देते हैं।

बेंच पर खड़े हो जाओ।Passive :- You are ordered to stand up on the bench.
तुम्हें अनुमति दी जाती है कि बेंच पर खड़े हो जाओ।Active :- Work Attentively.
मन लगाकर काम करें।Passive :- you are suggested to work attentively.
आपको सुझाव दी जाती है कि मन लगाकर काम करें।15. कुछ ऐसे भी Imperative sentences होते हैं जो Let से start होते हैं और Let के बाद us का use का होता है और साथ ही साथ suggestion ( सलाह ) का भाव व्यक्त करे तो Active को Passive में इस प्रकार change कर देते हैं।

सुझाव दिया जाता है कि हम लोगों को इस भोजपुरी गाना पर नाचना चाहिेए।16. कभी कभी यह भी देखा जाता है कि कुछ ऐसे भी Imperative sentences होते हैं जो Let से start होते हैं और उनके बाद us न लगाकर indirect object के कुछ और शब्द होते हैं ।

इसके द्वारा मुझे हंसाया जाता है।Present के लिए causative verbs make / makes का use तब करते है जब कर्ता किसी व्यक्ति या वस्तु के कुछ करने का कारण बनता है।

Causative verb के लिए Active voice में make और makes के बाद infinitive का चिन्ह (to) छिप जाता है।
