"A Pinch of Snuff" is a very interesting and comedy story. In this story, the writer explained the main character of his maternal uncle Nanukaka, who always tells a lie and cheats others in his own way.
Nanukaka comes to Delhi at his sister's house to meet minister but the narrator doesn't want Nanukaka to come. Next day, the narrator goes to the station to receive his maternal uncle(Nanukaka). Nanukaka travelled second class carriage at the third-class ticket. So, he was caught by the Ticket Checker but managed the problem easily.
Nanukaka wanted to meet minister. So, he himself dressed like an Astrologer and again reaches the residence of the minister. In the visitors's book, he writes his false address showing himself as the "Hereditary Astrologer to the Maharaja of Ninnore".At last, the welfare minister himself came to meet Nanukaka. Really this story is too funny.

In this story-the writer explained the character of his maternal uncle Nanukaka, Who always tells a lie and cheats others in his own way. He comes to Delhi at his sister’s house to meet Minister but the Narrator doesn’t want Nanukaka to come but at his mother’s insistence, he takes leave from the office and undeservingly Narrator goes to Railway Station to receive his Maternal Uncle. Nanukaka travelled second class carriage at the third-class ticket. So, he was caught by the Ticket Checker but managed the problem easily. Nanukaka wanted to meet a Minister. So, he went to see the Minister but he didn’t get any appointment to get in touch with the Minister while he is called for a meeting with the Minister after three days. At last Nanukaka plays a trick to fulfil his selfish aim at seeing a Minister and he really succeeded in doing so.
He tells his sister’s son to hire a Royal car and pretends to his driver. He cheated a Motor Dealer and took a Royal car to serve his evil purpose. Nanukaka wanted to meet Minister. So, he himself dressed like an Astrologer and again reaches the Residence of the Minister.
