This Privacy Policy explains how BuildMetric ("the app", "we", "us") handles your
information. BuildMetric is a construction calculator app. By using the app you
agree to the practices described below.

## 2. Information we collect
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app.
### a) Account information (only if you create an account)
Signing in is **optional** — the calculators work without an account. If you
choose to sign in, we use **Google Firebase Authentication** to create and secure
your account. Depending on the method you pick, this may include:
- your **email address** (email sign-up, or Google/Apple sign-in);
- your **name**, if you provide one or share it via Google/Apple;
- your **phone number**, if you register with phone + password;
- a unique account identifier (user ID).
### b) Your calculations and projects
Calculations, projects and history you create are stored **locally on your
device**. When you are signed in they are associated with your account so they
stay organised for you.
### c) Purchase information
If you buy a **BuildMetric Pro** subscription, the purchase is processed by the
**Google Play Store** or the **Apple App Store** and managed through
**RevenueCat**. We receive your subscription status (active / inactive) so we can
unlock the ad-free experience. **We never receive or store your full payment card
details** — those are handled by the store.
### d) Advertising data
Unless you have BuildMetric Pro, the app shows ads served by **Yandex Mobile
Ads**. To deliver and measure ads, the advertising SDK may collect a mobile
**advertising identifier**, device and usage information, and approximate
diagnostic data, in accordance with its own policy.
### e) Camera (AR measure)
The optional **AR measure** tool uses your device **camera** to measure real-world
distances. Camera frames are processed on the device in real time and are **not
recorded, saved or transmitted** by us.

## 3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- provide the calculators and save your projects and history;
- create and secure your account and sign you in;
- unlock and maintain your BuildMetric Pro subscription;
- display and measure advertising (for non-Pro users);
- keep the app working correctly and fix problems.
We do **not** sell your personal information.

## 5. Permissions we request
- **Internet / network access** — required for sign-in, subscriptions and ads.
- **Camera** — used only for the optional AR measure feature.
- **Advertising ID** — used by the ad SDK to serve ads (non-Pro users).
You can revoke the camera permission at any time in your device settings; the AR
feature simply won't be available without it.

## 6. Data retention and deletion
- Calculations, projects and history are stored **on your device** and are removed
when you delete them in the app or uninstall the app.
- Account data held in Firebase is kept while your account exists.

## 7. Children's privacy
BuildMetric is intended for a general, professional audience and is **not
directed at children under 13**. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact
us and we will delete it.

We use reputable providers (Google, Apple, RevenueCat) and industry-standard
measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is
100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change
the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a
change means you accept the updated policy.
