Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the Myory app (Chinese name: 肌常录录), a fitness and lifestyle application for logging strength training, nutrition, and body metrics, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Service. By using the Service, you agree to this policy unless applicable law requires separate consent.
The terms used here have the same meaning as in any in-app terms or notices we provide, unless this policy defines them differently.
What the app does
JCLL helps you record workouts, training sessions, food intake and nutrition goals, custom foods, daily summaries, and body measurements. Data may be stored on your device and synchronized with our cloud backend when you sign in.
Information we collect and how we use it
Account and authentication
To sign you in and keep your data in sync across devices, we process account-related information through our backend (Appwrite), including:
Phone number when you choose sign-in with SMS verification codes sent via our server-side flows.
Information from Google when you choose Google sign-in (for example identifiers and profile details that Google shares with us according to your Google account settings).
Session tokens and user identifiers assigned by our backend so the app can recognize your account.
Profile and health-related inputs you provide
When you use onboarding or profile features, you may provide or we may store:
Gender, birth year or month (approximate age-related input), activity level, and fitness goals.
Body measurement records (such as height, weight, or other metrics you enter).
Nutrition targets, diet logs, food items you create or select, and related notes or snapshots.
Training-related data including exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, duration, sessions, and notes you enter.
We use this information only to provide the core features of the app (display, history, charts, sync, and related calculations you expect from a training and nutrition logger).
Device storage
Much of the above is stored locally on your device (for example in a local database) so the app can work offline. When you are signed in, the app may mark records for synchronization and upload them to our backend so your data is backed up and consistent across sessions.
Photos and camera
If you use features that capture or attach images (for example food photos), the app may access the device camera or photo library only when you initiate those actions. Images you associate with your content may be stored locally and, when you use cloud features, uploaded to our file storage for sync or processing as required by the feature.
Network and technical data
When you use online features, our servers and integrated SDKs receive technical data typical of mobile apps, such as IP address, network connectivity state, app version, device or OS information, timestamps, and error or diagnostic payloads. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

The app relies on service providers that process data on our behalf. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply.

Umeng+ (UMENG) analytics (Umeng Common SDK)
After you accept the in-app consent that describes analytics collection, we initialize Umeng analytics. According to Umeng documentation and our in-app disclosure, this SDK may collect device identifiers and related technical information (which may include, depending on platform and configuration, items such as IMEI, Android ID, advertising identifier where available, IP address, and network or SIM-related signals) for purposes such as usage analytics, report calibration, and basic anti-fraud. If you do not accept that consent, we do not initialize this analytics SDK as described in the app flow.
Umeng+ (UMENG) application performance monitoring (APM) (Umeng APM SDK)
We integrate Umeng APM to monitor app performance and stability (for example crashes, performance metrics, and related diagnostics). This component is initialized when the app starts so we can detect failures and performance issues. It may send technical and device-related data to Umeng according to their service and documentation.

Google Play Services
Your device may use Google Play services as part of the operating environment. See Google privacy information linked above.
Fonts
The app may download font files from Google Fonts or similar CDNs to render typography. That involves network requests that may be logged by the relevant provider under their policies.
In-app WebView
If the app opens web content inside a WebView, the site you visit may collect information under its own policy. We do not control third-party websites.
Permissions (Android)
The app may request permissions such as internet access, network state, optional camera access for images, and phone-related permissions required by integrated SDKs for device identification or stability as documented by those SDKs. You can review or change permissions in system settings where the OS allows.
Log data and analytics
If errors occur, we or our providers may collect log or crash data including device type, OS version, app configuration, time of use, and similar diagnostic information to fix bugs and improve reliability.
Data retention and deletion
We retain information as long as needed to provide the Service and comply with law. You may request deletion of your account or data where applicable law and our technical capabilities allow; contact us using the email below. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period.
Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service may link to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their policies.
Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
International users
Your information may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate servers, which may have different data protection rules than your country.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
