Day 01

Arrive Melbourne

Arrive at Melbourne International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the day at leisure. Overnight in Melbourne.

Day 02

Melbourne – Phillip Island Penguin Parade Tour

Leaving Melbourne we travel to Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park. Here, we enjoy a guided wildlife walk where we have the opportunity to meet and hand-feed many species of native Australian animals. Learn about iconic species such as kangaroos, koalas, emus & wallabies, as well as some of our lesser known favourites including quolls, owls, bandicoots & Tasmanian devils. We'll journey next to the delightful Phillip Island Winery where we'll enjoy a gourmet afternoon tea featuring not only a range of locally produced wines, but also a selection of Gippsland's finest cheeses and other gourmet produce. The tasting is accompanied by an informative presentation about each of the foodstuffs sampled, ensuring an experience that is educational as well as truly mouth-watering. A visit to Point Grant and The Nobbies gives us an opportunity to enjoy views over Westernport Bay and Bass Strait, including Seal Rocks, home to Australia's largest population of fur seals. Where just after dark every night the world's smallest penguins waddle ashore after spending the day fishing out at sea. Your guide will ensure you are able to get the very best vantage point to enjoy the Penguin Parade and will help to keep you toasty warm with a complimentary hot cuppa. After the parade we allow plenty of time to explore the Visitor Centre before beginning our own journey back to Melbourne.

Day 03

Melbourne – Great Ocean Drive

Take in breathtaking sights of long sandy beaches and dramatic cliffs on this guided, full-day tour of Australia’s Great Ocean Road. See some of the most spectacular coastal scenery on Earth, including the Twelve Apostles limestone stacks and Gibson's Steps, site of historic cliff lines. Bushwalk in Great Otway National Park and try out your koala-spotting skills. Travel in a deluxe mini-coach with a small group for a relaxing, personalized experience.
