BudgetFox (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the BudgetFox mobile application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
We may collect the following types of information:

Name, email address, or login provider identifiers (Google or Apple Sign-In).
Subscription details and payment status (handled by Apple or Google).
b. Usage Data
Device information (model, OS version, IP address).
App usage data such as screens visited, time spent, and interactions (via Firebase Analytics).
c. Financial Data
Income, expenses, goals, or other budget information entered by you.
This data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore and is not shared with third parties.
d. Advertising Data
Device identifiers and ad interaction data collected by Google AdMob to display ads and measure performance.
Personalized ads are shown only with user consent via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
e. Crash and Diagnostic Data
Anonymous crash reports and performance logs (via Firebase Crashlytics).
We use collected information to:
Provide and improve app functionality.
Personalize the user experience and show relevant ads.
Maintain and analyze app performance.
Manage user subscriptions and accounts.
Send service updates and support messages.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We may share data only with:
Google Firebase (authentication, analytics, crash reporting, cloud storage).
Google AdMob (ad delivery and performance metrics).
Apple App Store / Google Play (subscriptions and payment processing).
All data sharing complies with each provider’s privacy policy:
User data is retained as long as your account is active or as required by law.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@budgetfox.app.
We use encryption, authentication, and secure servers (Firebase) to protect your data.
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission is 100% secure.
Our App is not directed toward children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
Depending on your location, you may:
Request access, correction, or deletion of your data.
Withdraw consent for personalized ads at any time.
