Information Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location. The App is designed as an offline-first tool. All financial data you enter is stored locally on your device and is never sent to any external server, cloud service, or third party.
Data You Enter
To provide its core features, the App stores the following information that you manually enter on your device:
* Transaction Records: Expense amounts, income amounts, categories, notes, and dates you enter to track your spending and earnings.
* Account Labels: Names you create for your wallets and accounts such as "Cash" or "Bank". These are labels only; the App never connects to any bank or financial institution.
* Budget Limits: Monthly spending limits you set per category to help you control your finances.
* Bill Reminders: Bill names, amounts, and due dates you enter so the App can send you payment reminders.
* Currency Preference: The default currency you select during setup or in the settings screen.
* App Preferences: Your chosen theme mode (light, dark, or system) and other display settings.
All of this data remains entirely on your device. No account creation or sign-up is required to use the App.
Permissions Used
The App requires only one optional permission for its functionality:
* POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13 and above): Used solely to deliver bill reminder notifications that you configure within the App. This permission is optional; the App functions fully without it. You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
Data Storage and Security
All data is stored using Android's internal application storage, which is sandboxed by the Android operating system. This means other apps on your device cannot access your financial data. No data is transmitted over the internet in the current version of the App.
Our app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them:

Data Retention and Deletion
Your data remains on your device for as long as the App is installed. You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Clear all data" option within the App's Settings screen, or by clearing the App's storage through your device's Settings, or by uninstalling the App. Since no data is transmitted to external servers, there is no remote data to request deletion of.
Children's Privacy
This App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Financial Services Disclaimer
Budget Planner - Expense Tracker is intended only for personal expense monitoring and budget tracking. The App does not provide, facilitate, or support banking, lending, money transfers, investment advice, credit services, cryptocurrency transactions, or any other regulated financial services. All income and expense data is entered manually by the user for personal tracking purposes only.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are made, we will post the updated policy on our website. Continued use of the app constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
