2. Data Collection and Usage The App requires the RECEIVE_SMS and READ_SMS permissions to function.

• Local Processing Only: All SMS reading, parsing, and transaction extraction occurs strictly locally on your device.

• What We Look For: The App only scans incoming SMS messages for patterns matching bank and credit card transaction alerts (e.g., "debited", "credited") to update your budget ledger.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

• We do not collect or upload your SMS messages or financial data to our servers.

• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third-party trackers.

• AI Features: If you choose to enable the AI Insights feature by entering your own Google Gemini API Key, the App will send an anonymized summary of your recent transactions directly to Google's Generative Language API to generate your insight. This data transmission is governed by Google's API Terms of Service.

4. Data Storage and Security All parsed transaction data is stored locally on your device in a secure SQLite database. You have full control over your data and can completely delete it or export it to a JSON backup at any time via the App's settings.

5. Changes to this Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App and on our Google Play Store listing.
